This evenings post-work ripping session. This 16′ x 12″ x 4″ cedar is a beautiful piece of timber. Enough for two standard F1’s, and some paddle blanks for friends.
Workshop now smells wonderful!
The saw gives a great finish, so we cut pretty much bang on, allowing for a light sand, but not for thicknesses.
Although we work in feet and inches for the big stuff, the smaller dimensions we use mm!
Getting to grips with 11/16″!
Looking forward to Friday eve to nail up the coaming. 🙂
